These are my finished 6 colour screen prints. I started them as an entry for a diesel competition, the brief was to produce a response to a piece of music and you could interpret any way you wanted. notrobotsrobots and that

NotRobotsRobots is a band\art collective that I started with my friend Dan. The main intention was to have a subject that I could base a lot of my illustrations around. Instead of using a real band and getting into legal troubles I could just do posters and other work for NotRobotsRobots. The following illustrations were a bunch of experiments with photoshop filters, colours and image juxtaposition.

I've had a blank skateboard deck for quite a while and thought it was a great opportunity to do a bit of self promotion work for drawingsandthat.blogspot.com. I used thick black paint pens to draw the design on, and used my small skull logo to adorn the maple wood.
